Helicore or Dominant strings for my violin?

It's a matter of personal choice really, also what suits the violin. You could also try Pirastro strings, I find they have a really sweet "pretty" tone. Or Evan Pirazzi I also love, cos they really ring out on my violin. However, the type of string will only really matter if you're playing with a decent violin to start with...
