Islam and Fashion..? your views?

I'm not an Arab, and I won't dress like one. The way I dress reflects the culture I've grown up in. I love to wear flats or flip flops, jeans, tunics, and a colorful scarf. Just because it's not the abaya or jilbab or whatever other people say I "have" to wear to dress "Islamically", doesn't make it immodest in the least. Since there are more Muslims in countries other than Arabia, saying we have to dress like an Arab to be Muslim, or assuming there are no "real" Muslims in the Western world is both ridiculous and a contradiction.
