No need to make a serious move, just something simple like saying, 'Hey, we should hang out over the summer sometime', and try to exchange numbers! Are you his friend on Facebook? Write on his wall, something like a joke about the math class. You know? Make a crack about the teacher or something, try to just start a friendship first! Engage in some conversation, try to get to know each other and form a friendship. I'd avoid coming on too strong with sexual moves and motives just yet.
